Coleophora byrsostola is een vlinder uit de familie van de kokermotten (Coleophoridae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is, als Macrocorystis byrsostola, voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1931 door Edward Meyrick.
