Louise Platt (Stamford, 3 augustus 1915 – Greenport, 6 december 2003) was een Amerikaanse actrice.
Biografie Platt werd geboren op 3 augustus 1915 in Stamford (Connecticut) als dochter van Lt. Cmdr. Daniel Louis Platt, een tandarts bij de marine. Ze groeide op in Annapolis vlakbij de militaire basis. Platts acteercarrière begon in het theater in Suffern. Ze acteerde in theaterproducties "van Maine tot Virginia tot Minnesota".

Op Broadway speelde ze in A Room in Red and White (1936), Promise (1936), Spring Dance (1936) en In Clover (1937). Na twee jaar Broadway vertrok ze in 1938 naar Hollywood. Haar bekendste filmrol is wellicht die van Lucy Mallory, de zwangere vrouw van de officier in Stagecoach (1939). Na een handvol films keerde ze in 1942 terug naar New York, waar ze in 1948 te zien was in de Broadway-productie van Anne of the Thousand Days met Rex Harrison en in 1949 in The Traitor. In de jaren vijftig speelde ze gastrollen in televisieseries en had ze een terugkerende rol in de soapserie Guiding Light.
Van 1939 tot 1941 was Platt getrouwd met theaterdirecteur Jed Harris, die haar mishandelde. In 1950 trouwde ze met Stanley Gould. Dit huwelijk hield stand tot zijn dood. Ze had een dochter uit elk huwelijk.
Platt overleed op 6 september 2003 in een ziekenhuis in Greenport (New York) op 88-jarige leeftijd.
