Ralph Waldo Wright (17 mei 1908, Grants Pass, Oregon – 31 december 1983, Los Osos, Californië) was een Amerikaanse schrijver, acteur, regisseur, storyboardartiest, componist, zanger en animatiepionier. Hij vertolkte onder meer de stem van Iejoor in de Winnie de Poeh-franchise.
Carrière Wright werkte van 1931 tot 1983 voor The Walt Disney Company, Gaumont British Animation, Jack Kinney Productions, King Features Syndicate, UPA, Warner Bros., Format Films, Walter Lantz Productions en ITV. Hij werkte onder meer in Animaland en verschillende cartoons. De technieken waarin hij pionierde omvatten het gebruik van gags in cartoons (in deze techniek pionierde hij samen met zijn collega's bij Disney) en de situatie waarbij een held faalt in een poging tot het bereiken van zijn doelen. De tweede techniek wordt tot op heden nog steeds gebruikt in de meeste grote animatiestudio's. Ze is bijvoorbeeld toegepast in de populaire cartoons van Warner Bros, zoals de Looney Tunes.
Privéleven Wright was getrouwd met Irmgard Julia Wright vanaf 1956. De laatste 30 jaar van zijn leven spendeerde hij in San Luis Obispo County in Los Osos, Californie. Hij overleed uiteindelijk op 75-jarige leeftijd in zijn huis aan een hartaanval.
