Richard Maldwyn Price (Welshpool, 16 april 1890 – aldaar, 11 november 1952) was een Welsh componist, muziekpedagoog, dirigent en organist.
Levensloop Price studeerde aan het University College of Wales, nu: Aberystwyth University in Aberystwyth en behaalde zijn Bachelor of Music in 1911. In 1913 behaalde hij zijn Master of Music en hij was de eerste student in Wales die in 1917 de academische graad van Doctor of Music (D.Mus.) behaalde. Hij werd organist en koordirigent aan de "St. Mary's Church" in Welshpool en bleef in deze functie tot 1933. Verder was hij docent en later directeur aan scholen in Redhill en Malvern.
Hij was ook gastdirigent bij verschillende Welshe brassbands.
Als componist schreef hij kerkmuziek, strijkkwartetten en verschillende werken voor orkest en brassband. Zijn Owain Glyndwr en Henry V waren verplichte werken bij de Open British Brass Band Championships in 1938 en 1941. Het laatstgenoemde werk was eveneens in 1947 tijdens de Belle Vue September Championships verplicht werk voor brassbands. Verder is van hem de Welsh Fantasy voor brassband bekend.
