Europium-161 of 161Eu is een onstabiele radioactieve isotoop van europium, een lanthanide. De isotoop komt van nature niet op Aarde voor.
Europium-161 ontstaat onder meer bij het radioactief verval van samarium-161.
Radioactief verval Europium-161 vervalt door β−-verval naar de radio-isotoop gadolinium-161:
