Panolopus is een geslacht van hagedissen uit de familie Diploglossidae.
Naam en indeling De wetenschappelijke naam van de groep werd voor het eerst voorgesteld door Edward Drinker Cope in 1862, maar dit geslacht werd lange tijd niet erkend. Verspreiding en habitat De soorten komen voor op het eiland Hispaniola.
Beschermingsstatus Door de internationale natuurbeschermingsorganisatie IUCN is aan drie soorten een beschermingsstatus toegewezen. Alle drie worden als 'veilig' beschouwd (Least Concern of LC).
